Go Ahead Be #Lazy For A Day

Lazy sunday by Dan Queiroz

January 16

Do Nothing

Today is a great day to lay around and do nothing. Well, unless you boss or school won't allow it. Please do not play hookie all because I told you to be lazy today.

National Do Nothing Day was created in 1973 by Harold Pullman Coffin. Harold was a newspaperman who created this day "to provide Americans with one national day when they can just sit without celebrating, observing, or honoring anything."

I celebrated the holiday yesterday, which truly was January 16, 2013, by not writing a blog at all. Ok, so I did post the contest for book cover yesterday. Other than that, I didn't post a historical blog entry at all. So go ahead. Be lazy.
